NSW FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISOR
NSW Food Authority approved Nationally recognised units SITXFSA001 and SITXFSA002 plus the NSW food Authority certificate.
An eligible Food Business (retail or food service) must have an FSS appointed for each premises. If the appointed FSS resigns or changes location the business must appoint a new FSS within 30 days .

NSW FSS recertification training
This course is for people who have an existing NSW FSS certificate which is about to expire, you will need to provide a copy of your existing certificate.
If your NSW FSS certificate is about to expire and you want to continue being a food safety supervisor in NSW you must undertake refresher training to attain new NSW FSS.
There are three (3) main focus areas of the NSW FSS Re-certification program, these are:
– Safe egg handling
– Allergen management
– Cleaning and sanitising.
A person who hold an existing NSW FSS certificate has 90 days from expiry of the certificate to complete the re-certification course.
The renewed NSW FSS certificate which will be valid for another 5 years.
